Welcome to my portfolio and thank you for taking the time to learn more about me – both personally and professionally. I believe that both of these aspects of a person are important, as each informs the other. In the way that physical health or illness can impact mental health and wellness and vice versa, my lived experience and positionality influence my career path and the professional decisions I make.

This portfolio is based on my work in the life sciences and medical device industries, and as such may look different from an academic portfolio of work. My past and current roles in corporate training, sales training, and coaching and development are centered in the business world of KPIs (key performance indicators), ROI (return on investment), process improvement, and business planning and execution. This also includes developing Continuing Medical Education programs for health care providers on the safe and effective use of medical devices and pharmaceuticals, while complying with all industry and Canadian Medical Association regulations.

Throughout my portfolio I will incorporate the metaphor of educator as gardener, as gardening is one of my favourite hobbies. The pictures that you see throughout this portfolio are my own images of the fruits of my labour.
